Sizing

 

The nightwear is designed in West Yorkshire by women and is made to UK size specifications and the nightwear fits true to size. 

The fabric (satin, chiffon or cotton) do not stretch and it is common to consider the next size above the one you would normally choose in a fabric which stretches like viscose. As the fabric does not stretch when wearing a bigger size than normal it means that your nightwear is looser fitting and more comfortable. 

Our nightwear is handmade by people working under fair trade conditions and the satin nightwear is not made in China. When clothing is handmade there is sometimes a slight variation when cutting the fabric resulting in a slight difference within the same size.

On pyjama trousers the inside leg is approximately 29 inch plus the depth of the seam from the waist band to the inside leg. 

What is plus size? 

Our use of plus size describes a size scale which ranges from size 8 to 38 UK sizes. Each size that our nightwear is made in is in proportion to the size above or below. The measurements of the clothing does not change at a certain size because each size is adjusted and made with extra body length / width and if applicable pintucks are adjusted. 

 

Which basque/corset size should I buy? 

The satin basque style is designed to be worn open with a gap between the front laces. If you would like to wear it closed (like the model) you will need to order up by at least one size.
